General terms and conditions

The minutes of the International UN Convention of 1975 regarding the trade in endangered species require from the vendor of ivory and all other species included in those minutes an official statement on oath that he/she declares how, when an where the items were legally acquired. This statement, together with an expert report made by the auctioneer will be the basic data for a permit by the Belgian CITES services for legal sale outside the European Union. This permit is not needed for any transaction whatsoever within the EU, that is, if there is compliance with all legal requirements.

The auctioneer cannot be held responsible for any refuse or ban on sale by the Belgian CITES services.
