A collection of mostly 19thC Chinese snuff bottles, consisting of: three mother of pearl bottles: two of them with the natural form and pattern, preserved and emphasized, one bottle cut with a dragon in a mountainous landscape and on the reverse figures: further six ivory bottles: one bottle of square baluster shape cut with figures in an interior, marked; one bottle of square baluster shape with black stained engraved decoration, depicting deer in a landscape, the reverse with text; a smaller bottle relief cut with figures on both sides; a bottle with black stained engraved decoration, depicting a mountainous landscape, on the reverse two relief cut female figures; one bottle with roundels on both sides, engraved and brownish stained with birds in a basket, all-around and on the shoulders and the stopper red and black stained engraved meandering decoration, marked; one bottle with black and brown stained engraved decoration, depicting mundane life garden scenes under a willow tree, all-around and on the shoulders stained engraved decoration, marked; added an ivory Japanese snuff bottle, the roundels shibayama decorated with Japanese beauties, Meiji period, signed; extra added, a five part black lacquered inro gold lacquer, decorated with cranes and slight burgeauté inlay, Meiji period; H 5,7 - 9,2 cm
