An exceptional pair of 15thC probably Venetian Renaissance pendant paintings with scenes of the life of Saint Paul, the first one depicting the conversion of Saint Paul, the other one depicting the stoning of Saint Paul in Lystra, the second work with inscription to the left lower corner 'Georgio Margast(ido) Cidonia', tempera on pine panels, 45 x 51,5 cm; in two gilt decorated typical Venetian Renaissance-style frames, decorated with basso-relievo composite palmets, griffons and acanthus leaves, and flanked by two pillars with on top Corinthian capitals, probably 18th/19thC, 70,5 x 82 cm
