Harry Holland

1941

Based in Cardiff, Wales, Harry Holland is a contemporary figurative artist, who specialises in hyper realist depictions of still life.

Born in Glasgow in 1941 and trained at St. Martin’s School of Art, London. He has been living and working in Cardiff since 1973.

He is now internationally recognised, having featured in exhibitions around the world. His intellectual and painterly approach is deeply rooted in the traditions of art, often including mythological references in both his figurative and still life works. Beautifully painted, his work embodies elements of ambiguity, implied narrative, blending classical themes with contemporary styles.
