Two Chinese gilt on bleu-poudré ground 'Butterflies' baluster vases and covers, gilt decorated with big butterflies amongst bouquets, on a mint-green enamelled cracked ice pattern, all set against an even bleu-poudré ground, mid-Qing, late 18thC/early 19thC, H 62 cm

  • Condition: In overall good appearance with the following remarks:
    - both top rims of the vases and both covers mounted and drilled
    - both mounted top rims have weak spots due to mounting: visible to the inside rim with surface cracks and shallow chips, otherwise not impacting the appearance.
