A rare Charles Catteau (1880-1966) Art Deco dark glazed stoneware vase with deer and hinds, marked to the bottom 'Grès Keramis', signed in ink 'Ch. Catteau', decor number 'D924' and impressed type number '934'

Stoneware vase, two-colour design (black-brownish ochre).


A similar vase was presented at the 'The Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes' in 1925 in Paris (see image).
