A 19thC Viennese enameled and gilt silver cornucopia supported by a griffin, ca 1860, 750/000

The griffin is holding a shield set with a citrine in its claw, the cornucopia and the base are decorated with mythological scenes. The inside of the horn is 'faux-horn' decorated.
Austria-Hungary hallmark (1866-1922), 750/000 (both on the bottom and top rim)

  • Condition: In our opinion in good condition. With restoration to the enamel. The griffin with the shield and the griffin's head at the top of the horn are not marked, but were tested on silver purity.
