A Chinese longquan celadon tripod censer, carved in low relief with the Buddhist "Eight Trigrams", raised on three feet moulded as animal heads, late Yuan - early Ming dynasty, ø 34 - H 11,5 cm

  • Condition: The censer appears overall in good condition, except for the following:
    - with a small glaze flake restuck on the upper rim, with a related C-shaped hairline extending downwards on the outside, ~10 cm.
    - another tight hairline on the rim, with a small impact zone
    - superficial crazing throughout
    - a superficial chip to the unglazed base
