A large 'Black Forest' carved wood bear coat and umbrella stand, 19th/early 20thC, H 202 cm

The bears with inlaid eyes.

  • Condition: - some wear to the feet and umbrella platform
    - some of the joints between the wooden parts visible
    - some wear to the ring for the umbrellas
    - the hooks serving as coathangers with some wear, one of them with a very visible joint and some damage
    - some small cracks to the wood, one on the highest bear's front paw
    - furthermore, in our opinion, the item is in good condition
