Sarah Van Hoe, "L'Andamento delle cose" (De gang der zaken), 40 x 40 x 40 cm (110 cm incl. stem)

"The course of events tells the allegorical epic of life itself."
— Sarah Van Hoe

"The course of events tells the allegorical epic of life itself. A Divina Commedia, a divine comedy like that of the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri. Love, the search for meaning, truth, and evolution. Humanity, nature, animals. Their strength, but also pride and fragility. The course of events tells, through a collage of prints, portraits and nudes by master artists, the quest for understanding that ends with the contemplation of divine truth."
— Sarah Van Hoe
