A 19thC, probably German, richly carved ivory candle screen, H 43,5 cm - 491 g (+)

The screen itself represents a forest scene populated by wandering deer, the frame and stand richly decorated with arabesques, flowers, and acanthus leafs

Provenance: from a private collection in Belgium. This item is included in the commissioned private catalogue, titled 'The Nibajama collection', item no. 184

  • Condition: - as far as we can see there are no parts missing and thus the item, in our opinion, is in a fairly good condition
