A Chinese blue and white and famille rose Hu vase, divided into eight panels, each famille rose enamelled with the Buddhist auspicious emblems, amongst lotus scrolls, bordered by blue and white decorated bands with stylised dragons, the foot rim with a band of lingzhi fungi, paired with mythical beast head handles, 19thC/20thC, H 20,5 cm

  • Condition: The vase appears overall in acceptable to good condition except for:
    - the shallow glaze chips to the top rim
    - a section to one handle and restuck
