A Chinese, Cantonese late Qing dynasty jewellery box, H 13 - W 17,5 - D 13,8 cm / 1057 g (+)

Decorated with garden and interior scenes on top, front and back sides, and floral on the left and right side cartouches; all rims are cut with repetitive decoration, and the feet Taotie mask shaped, the interior fitted with a tray.

Provenance: from a private collection in Belgium. This item is included in the commissioned private catalogue, titled 'The Nibajama collection', item no. 244
