A rare Chinese famille rose garlic-mouth vase, all around decorated with scrolling lotus, the bulbous body with four medallions, each depicting one of the four noble professions: fisherman, woodcutter, farmer, and scholar, the top rim depicting a lotus blossom, with a Qianlong mark, 19thC, H 44 cm

  • Condition: The vase appears overall in good condition, except for:
    - a drill hole to the bottom
    - some wear to the famille rose enamels
    Otherwise, no further remarks regarding the condition.
