An exceptional Chinese Nanking 'stoneware' vase, of Hu form, applied and famille rose enamelled with the figures from the 'Table of Peerless Heroes', on a studded ground in turquoise glaze, the bottom with an impressed apocryphal Qianlong mark reserved on a crackle-glazed ground, late 19thC, H 23 cm

A Chinese famille rose quadrangular fanghu vase, the panels decorated with beauties in a garden, the neck with signed texts, the shoulders paired with Fu lion head handles in iron-red, late 19thC, H 43 cm

  • Condition: The Chinese famille rose 'Wu Shuang Pu' Nanking hu vase, appears in our opinion in excellent condition, except for the usual firing faults expected of age and type.

    The Chinese famille rose fanghu vase appears in an acceptable condition, except for:
    - flat chips to the top rim and to the sides (corners, not to the panels)
    - the handles appear in good condition
    Otherwise, no further remarks regarding the condition.
