A Chinese wucai 'Auspicious Emblems' jar, the body all around decorated with strands of 'bagua' or auspicious emblems, Transitional period, H 35 cm

  • Condition: The jar appears overall in acceptable to good condition, with the following remarks:
    - cracks to the inside wand, not pierced through the decorated exterior
    - chips to the top rim
    - the neck repaired and a related vague hairline: not visibly pierced through, but enamel retouches perhaps covering the hairline
    - loss of enamel here and there
