A collection of Chinese and Japanese export porcelain teapots, cups and saucers, and a Meissen teapot, 18/19thC

A Chinese famille rose export porcelain teapot and cup and saucer, the cup and saucer decorated with a lotus pond, the teapot with peony branches. Added a floral decorated Amsterdam Bont milk jug and a famille verte cup and saucer. Added a floral shaped cup and saucer, decorated with a pair of quails in gilt and iron-red. Added a ditto cup and saucer with a dancing figure and lion. All aforementioned in our opinion 18thC. Extra added a Meissen chinoiserie teapot and two Japanese Arita Imari sugar jars, 19thC, H 10,5 - 12,5 cm (pot - jug)


  • Condition: A famille rose teapot and a set of cup and saucer, 18thC, all appear in our opinion in good condition, with the following remarks:
    - Teapot: in our opinion in good condition
    - 'Lotus pond' cup and saucer: the outer rim of the saucer and the top rim of the cup with burst glaze bubbles and dark spots. Otherwise, items appear in excellent condition.

    An Amsterdam Bont milk jug and a famille verte cup and saucer, 18thC, all appear in our opinion in acceptable to good condition, with the following remarks:
    - Jug and cover: star-shaped glaze crack to the bottom - minor chips to the spout and top rim - cover with superficial glaze chips to the outer rim.
    - Cup: hairline ~3 cm
    - Saucer: hairline ~2 cm
    Otherwise, in our opinion no further remarks regarding the condition.
    Two iron-red and gilt decorated cups and saucers, 18thC, all appear in our opinion in acceptable to good condition:
    - 'quails' cup: hairline ~8 mm
    - 'quails' saucer: a chip to the outer rim and bottom rim
    - 'dancing figure' cup: in our opinion in good condition
    - 'dancing figure' saucer: a hairline ~2 cm
    Otherwise, in our opinion no further remarks regarding the condition.

    Two Japanese Arita Imari sugar pots, 19thC appear in our opinion in excellent condition, with the following remarks:
    - one pot with damage to the inner rim
    - the other pot in our opinion in good condition
    Otherwise, in our opinion no further remarks regarding the condition

Shipping

The auction house is not in charge of shipment of the purchased goods.

Collection of purchases is only possible if the auctioneer has received full payment, be it in cash, by debit/credit card or via bank transfer.

If the buyer wishes a third party to collect his/her purchase in his/her stead, the buyer needs to fill in the Authorization Form for Collection of Purchase (please see below), sign it and send it back to the auction house via email. Without this Authorization Form, no third party can collect any purchase even if it is already paid for.

Goods must be collected no later than 15 days (applied to Belgian buyers) / 30 days (applied to international buyers) after the last auction day.

After this period, uncollected goods will be put in storage at the cost of the buyer. Regardless of the total amount of lots, a fixed storage fee of € 30 is charged. Besides this fixed fee, a storage fee of € 20 per lot per week will be calculated and charged as well.
