A series of three Chinese octagonal export dishes, the well decorated with figures on a terrace, a scene from the Romance of the Western Chamber, the rim richly decorated with butterflies and flowers in underglaze blue, finished by a coral-red rim, 18thC, ø 22 cm

A Chinese famille rose dish, decorated with a rolled-open scroll with peonies in a garden, the rim with peonies on a diaper, 18thC, ø 22 cm

  • Condition: The hexagonal dishes - two dishes appear overall in good condition:
    - one dish with two long darkened hairline cracks
    - the second dish appears overall in good condition, except for a minute frit and wear to the enamel
    - the third with shallow chips here and there to the frontal rim

    The scroll plate:
    - long crack to the decorated front side
    - a flat chip to the front and back rim
