- A map of the vicinity of Brussels by Willem Blaeu, 'Secunda Pars Brabantiae cuius urbs primaria Bruxellae', edition between 1659-72, copper engraving with hand-coloured details, 41,5 x 53 cm
- A map of Newport 'Newport a Strong Sea-Port Town in Flanders, restored to the Empire by ye Treaty of Utrecht', executed by Tindal for Rapin's 'History of England', printed in London between 1731-1747, hand-coloured copper engraving, 38,5 - 47,8 cm
- A map of 'Les environs de Dunkerque, de Furne, de Nieuport, de Berge, de Dixmuyde & C.', printed by G. Danet, Paris, 1724, copper engraving, 32,5 x 42 cm
- Two engravings of the fortifications of Veurne, 18thC, copper engravings, 20,5 - 30 - 22 x 31 cm
- Added: four hand-coloured engravings, three episodes of the history of Napoleon and one view on London, early 19thC, 28 x 36 - 28,5 x 41 cm

  • Condition: - map of Brussels Blaeu: central folding crease, minor and usual wear; the hand-coloured details possibly later added.
    - general wear and some foxing spots
    - the four 19thC engravings: in poor condition with severe foxing all over the paper

Shipping

We will standard pack and send your purchased lot(s). A fixed packing fee of € 15/lot will be default added to your invoice, and the courier fee (by Belgium's national post office, Bpost) will be preliminarily added as well. Please inform us immediately after your bidding that you will carry out the transport on your own behalf or that you have contacted your personal transporter.

Collection of purchases is only possible if the auctioneer has received full payment, be it in cash, by debit/credit card or via bank transfer.

If the buyer wishes a third party to collect his/her purchase in his/her stead, the buyer needs to fill in the Authorization Form for Collection of Purchase (please see below), sign it and send it back to the auction house via email. Without this Authorization Form, no third party can collect any purchase even if it is already paid for.

Goods must be collected no later than 15 days (applied to Belgian buyers) / 30 days (applied to international buyers) after the last auction day.

After this period, uncollected goods will be put in storage at the cost of the buyer. Regardless of the total amount of lots, a fixed storage fee of € 30 is charged. Besides this fixed fee, a storage fee of € 20 per lot per week will be calculated and charged as well.
