A collection of six Pre-Columbian type objects, two anthropomorphic vessels and an anthropomorphic vessel and rattle, all polychrome decorated, presumably 700-1000 BC, Huari/ Tiahuanaco, Peru; added a parrot shaped vessel, a zoomorphic double whistling jar and an anthropomorphic vessel, presumably Moche, Peru, H 16 - 20,5 cm

The Huari/ Tiahuanaco vessels were part of the former collection of Mr N.L. Padt, 1978

  • Condition: All items in our opinion in good condition, with the following remarks:
    - The Huari/ Tiahuanaco vessel with the painted arms on the belly: slight wear to the polychrome paint
    - The Huari/ Tiahuanaco vessel and rattle: some chips to the top rim
    - The Huari/ Tiahuanaco vessel: quite large chips to the top rim, chips to the left ear, negligible perforation under the mouth
    - the Moche parrot shaped vessel: chip to the top rim
    - the Moche anthropomorphic vessel: negligible wear to the top rim, small chip to the nose
    - the zoomorphic whistling jar: in our opinion in good condition
