A group of four Chinese famille rose porcelain ware, and a series of four Canton enamel on copper dishes, some with a signed text, late Qing/ Republic period, tallest H 23,8 cm

A small collection of four Chinese famille rose porcelain ware, Republic period, comprises:
- a melon-shaped teapot, decorated with high officials and dignitaries in a setting, with a seal mark at the bottom, and iron handles, H 10,5 - L 15 cm
- a polycrhome painted teapot, decorated with a beauty and a boy in a garden, the back with a signed text, the bottom with a Qianlong seal mark, H 12,5 - L 16 cm
- a lidded pot, decorated with ladies and playful boys in a garden, with a signed text at the back, H 13 cm
- a baluster vase, decorated with beauties in a garden, the back with a signed text, H 23,8 cm

A series of four Chinese Canton enamel on copper squared dishes, depicting the female Immortals, Magu and her deer, and Lan Caihe with her flower basket, on crashing waves, painted with added gilt details, late Qing, 9,7 x 9,7 cm

  • Condition: The series of four Canton enamel on copper dishes, all four in overall good appearance, with the following remarks:
    - all four with the usual cracks in the enamel and minimal enamel loss
    - two dishes with heavier enamel loss: mostly to the sides, not affecting the upper decoration

    The four porcelain ware appear all in excellent condition, except for the small ignorable remarks:
    - the 'Court Scenes' melon-shaped teapot: a frit to the spout.
    - the 'Lady and Boy in Garden' teapot: a small damage to the inner flange of the lid (to be ignored).
    - the lidded pot: usual small chips to the inner flange of the lid (can be ignored).
    - the vase appears overall in excellent condition, no remarks.
