A large collection of the second half of the 19thC 'Vieux Paris' porcelain vases, consisting of a pair of large 'bleu céleste' ground vases, decorated with roundels filled with flowers and both flanked by a biscuit figure of a romantic couple - two pair of floral-shaped vases, one pink ground and with hand-painted flower decoration, the other blue ground and with flower relief decoration - a matching 'bleu royal' ground vase, the hand-painted central roundel depicting a gallant scene of a dog protecting his owners from a snake (marked), H 38,5 - 57 cm. Added: a pair of Japonism inspired vases, with Neoclassical handles and hand-painted roundels with chicks, late 19thC, H 33,5 cm

  • Condition: - the large 'céleste bleu' ground vases:
    -- the biscuit lady figure with restoration to the chest and neck
    -- restoration left of the chicken
    - the pink-ground pair: one with restoration to the foot
    - the pair with flower relief decoration:
    -- firing cracks
    -- restoration to the floral shaped handles
    -- chips and broken pieces to the flower relief decoration
    - the pair of Japonism inspired vases:
    -- both with a chip to the bottom rim
    -- one with restoration to a handle
    -- the other with restoration and damage to the top rim
    - furthermore, in our opinion, the lot is in an acceptable condition

Shipping

The auction house is not in charge of shipment of the purchased goods.

Collection of purchases is only possible if the auctioneer has received full payment, be it in cash, by debit/credit card or via bank transfer.

If the buyer wishes a third party to collect his/her purchase in his/her stead, the buyer needs to fill in the Authorization Form for Collection of Purchase (please see below), sign it and send it back to the auction house via email. Without this Authorization Form, no third party can collect any purchase even if it is already paid for.

Goods must be collected no later than 15 days (applied to Belgian buyers) / 30 days (applied to international buyers) after the last auction day.

After this period, uncollected goods will be put in storage at the cost of the buyer. Regardless of the total amount of lots, a fixed storage fee of € 30 is charged. Besides this fixed fee, a storage fee of € 20 per lot per week will be calculated and charged as well.
