A limestone architectural fragment of an angel, in the International Gothic manner, possibly 14th/15thC, H 33 cm

An angel crowning the Holy Virgin, probably originating from a church's portal, presented on a metal stand, H 33 W 29 D 12 cm, H incl. stand 39 cm

With traces of polychrome paint.

  • Condition: - traces of polychrome paint and gilt
    - piece missing to the forehead, wear to the right eye
    - restorations and touch-ups to the face
    - restoration to the top of the head
    - top of the wing missing
    - possibly some other restoration, but hardly visible
    - Given the fact that it is a fragment, the item appears in a rather good condition.
