A Limoges painted enamel plaque on copper, depicting the sixth Station of the Cross, wherein Saint Veronica wipes the blood and sweat from Christ's face with her veil, attributed to the workshop of Leonard Limousin, ca 1545, H 22 x W 16 cm (without frame)

(+) Added a certificate by an external expert

  • Condition: In our opinion in good condition, with the following remarks:
    - The bottom corners broken and glued
    - Lacune of the enamel layer situated to the bottom of the cross
    - Cracks in top layer
    - The reverse shows the label 'Art and Antiques Dealers Legae'
