A pair of 18thC French silver plates with a scalloped rim, Paris hallmark (1744-1750), maker's mark Edme-Pierre Balzac, discharge mark

added a ditto larger plate, Paris hallmark (1768-1774), maker's mark Jean-Louis Morel, discharge mark

extra added a ditto oval plate, Paris hallmark (1780-1782), illegible maker's mark, discharge mark, total weight: ca 2819 g, ø 26 - 28,5, oval dish 24,5 x 35,5 cm

  • Condition: In our opinion, in good condition, with the following remarks:
    The usual wear and scratches
    - The dishes hallmarked Edme-Pierre Balzac:
    Both with a dent to the scalloped rim
    - The larger plate:
    Burn stains to the backside, quite some scratches
