A set of five Chinese verte-Imari dishes, 18thC, ø 22,8 cm

A set of five Chinese verte-Imari dishes, decorated in the centre with a lotus garden below pine trees, the border with shaped panels enclosing flower branches in a fenced garden, the underglaze-blue ground panels reserved with flower buds, Qianlong period, ø 22,8 cm

The decoration is inspired by the 'Stanislaw pattern' plates from the Kangxi period.

  • Condition: One dish appears in good to excellent condition

    One dish with a short hairline to the rim running inwards for ~ 3 cm and some crazing to the central roundel. Otherwise, no further remarks.

    The three other dishes appear with (some/) a chip(s) to the rim, mostly only visible to the backside. Otherwise, the three other dishes appear in good condition.
