The seven Chinese export ware, early Qing - late Qing, comprises:

A fine Chinese famille rose 'Pheasant and Peacock' salt shaker, finely enamelled with a pheasant and a peacock in a garden, Yongzheng period, H 3 - 8,3 x 6,8 cm

A Chinese Imari sugar shaker, finely painted with figures depicting a scene from the Romance of the Western chamber, Kangxi period, H 13 cm

A fine Chinese blue and white 'Pavilion in a Landscape' salt shaker, Yongzheng/Qianlong period, H 4,8 - ø 7,5 cm

A small collection of four Chinese blue and white ware, a small crackle-glazed bottle blue and white decorated with figures, a bowl, a floral decorated stem cup, another stem cup with figures, late Qing and 20thC, tallest H 7,6 cm (a stem cup) - largest H 5,7 - ø 11,5 cm


Two Japanese porcelain ware, early Edo - 20thC

A Japanese Imari decorated jug, formed with a tall, slender neck, decorated with a phoenix in a medallion, set against an arrangement of peony branches, early Edo, H 17,5 cm

A Japanese blue and white ingot-shaped pot, decorated with a pair of Shishi playing with a coin, amongst clouds, H 4,7 - L 7,5 cm

  • Condition: The famille rose Yongzheng salt shaker appears overall in excellent condition.

    The Chinese Imari sugar shaker in good appearance, except for:
    - the lid with a flat chip to the outer rim
    Otherwise, the jug appears in excellent condition.

    The blue and white salt shaker, Qianlong period, appears in excellent condition.

    The small group of four Chinese blue and white ware appear all in excellent condition.

    The Japanese ware:
    - the Imari jug, Edo era, the body with two cracks (perhaps only to the glazing), ~4 cm, and rubbing/small chip and related rubbing to the spout
    - the blue and white ingot-shaped pot appears in good condition
