Geuze Selection

Batch 1 - 3 Fonteinen, Zenne y Frontera, Geuze (0,75 L.)
Belgium

3 Fonteinen Zenne y Frontera is a unique creation of Armand Debelder and maître-sommelier Andy De Brouwer. The first batch is comprised of lambic brewed on January 19, 2012, barreled, and then refined in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry barrels starting in the spring of 2013. It was bottled in March 2014. It is listed as 7% ABV and was released in August 2015. Approximately 4,000 750ml bottles were filled, with some being distributed to restaurants and bars around Europe and some being sold on-site at the brewery.

Batch 2 - 3 Fonteinen, Zenne y Frontera, Geuze (0,75 L.)
Belgium

The second batch of Zenne y Frontera is limited to approximately 3,000 bottles. This batch contains lambic that has been in the barrels since the spring of 2013 as well as younger lambic that had been used to top off the sherry barrels that were not fully emptied in a type of Solera method. The average age of lambic in the second bottling is more than 45 months.

3 Fonteinen, Armand & Gaston, Geuze (1,50 L.)

The Cuvée Armand & Gaston Magnum has been aged for over four years at the time of this release. This particular assemblage consists of lambic from six different barrels and comes from five different brews.

3 Fonteinen, Schaarbeekse, Kriek (1,50 L.)
Belgium

The beer is obtained by maturing cherries (flesh and pips) in young lambic. After this 6-8-month maturation process, the beer ferments in the bottle for at least another four months after bottling. No flavouring, colouring or sweeteners are added. The difference with Oude Kriek 3 Fonteinen is that only Schaarbeek cherries are used in this beer. Schaarbeek cherries are a small, wild type of sour cherries. They give a distinctive flavour. As the trees are becoming increasingly rare, this beer is only produced on a very limited basis.

Origin: Private cellar

Tilquin, A l'Anciene, Oude Geuze (1,50 L.)
Belgium

Oude Geuze Tilquin is a beer with spontaneous fermentation that is a blend of 1, 2 and 3-year-old lambic. Non-filtered and non-pasteurised. This beer re-ferments in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months. The lambics they use are fermented and matured in oak barrels in their cutting plant. They come from different types of wort brewed by Boon, Lindemans, Girardin and Cantillon.
