A Chinese pseudo-armorial dish, en grisaille and gilt heightened, the well with a 'coat of arm' enclosing the naked back of a man in famille rose enamels, the lobed rim and decorated with a design inspired by the royal Vienna porcelain, Qianlong period, ø 23 cm

A similar pair of Chinese pseudo-armorial marriage dishes, en grisaille and gilt heightened, dated 1762, the well with the monograms of the couple and flanked by cherubs, the lobed rim decorated with a design inspired by the royal Vienna porcelain, Qianlong period, ø 23 cm

  • Condition: The pseudo-armorial dish with 'the naked back of a man':
    - an underglaze darkened crack to the rim of the well ~2 cm
    - some frits to the rim
Otherwise, the dish appears in our opinion in good condition.

One pseudo-armorial dish with monograms, with crazing to the back, otherwise the dish appears in excellent condition.

The other dish appears in our opinion in excellent condition.
