Two 17th/18th-century Indo-Portuguese walrus and hippopotamus ivory sculptures depicting the Holy Rochus, H 12 - 12,3 cm / 120 - 59 g.

The smallest one on a fixed ebony base; both partly stained and gilt

  • Condition: Apart from the remarks below, the items are in an acceptable condition.
    The bigger figure is missing a hand / some wear / one prominent crack at the back probably due to the opposing tension of the ivory on the one hand and the wooden filling on the other hand / a hole on top for the missing crown
    The smaller one with the left hand restored and even some fingers missing / some wear / a hole on top for the missing crown
