Two Chinese Imari 'Long Elisa' deep plates, the central roundel decorated with Long Elisa and her attendant in a garden in iron-red and gilt, encircled by a lappet of ruyi-heads in the Imari palette, the rim with iron-red and gilt peony branches, bordered by the rim in underglaze blue, 18thC, ø 24,5 cm

  • Condition: One plate appears overall in good condition, except for some frits and two glaze chips to the rim.

    The other plate with a hairline to the rim ~3,5 cm and some glaze chips, otherwise no further remarks regarding the condition.
