Two Japanese ivory netsuke of birds, one of a manderin duck and the other of a crane eating an eel, Meiji/Taisho period (early 20thC), H 4 cm - W 7,5 cm - D 3,3 cm - 60g / H 4 cm - W 5 cm - D 3 cm - 35g (+)

The manderin duck with age cracks to the ivory and small himotoshi on the bottom.
The crane quite large, with inlaid eyes and small himotoshi on the bottom as well. The nerve tract of the tusk visible through the sculpture.
