A 19thC German Historism Humpen (tankard), ivory casing with elaborately carved decoration, Nuremberg marked silver mounts, maker's mark G.G. with a rose, H 29 cm - total weight c. 965 g (+)

The body, the handle, and the top of the cover sculpted with a bacchanal, the silver mount worked in a baroque revival style, about 1880.
