A porcelain tureen and cover, of egg-shape, decorated with figures with a fan and parasol by prunus issuing from Chinese-style rockwork, in Kakiemon-style overglaze enamels of blue, green, yellow and red, raised on a Neoclassical gilt bronze foot, the top and cover impressively mounted with finely cast gilt bronze ware, late 18thC, total H 66 cm

A similar Japanese one can be found in the Louvre collection, Paris.
