A Limoges painted enamel plaque, with gilt details, on copper, depicting the Annunciation, monogrammed L.L. on the vase, attributed to Leonard Limousin, presumably 16thC, 24 x 18,5 cm (+)

The plaque is almost identical to the etching by Leonard Limousin, now in the Metropolitan Museum in New York

  • Condition: Wear and chips to the edges
    Quite some losses of the enamel layer situated to the robe of Gabriel
    Quite some cracks, mainly to the left side, the bottom corner (the area of the Madonna), and the top left corner
